Project 365::: JANUARY!!

Last year I decided to go ahead and take on the 365 Project as a way of challenging myself and staying away from procrastinating during the slow season. If you're not familiar with it, the idea behind it all is to take and post a photo each day of the year. I went ahead and created a group on Facebook and a bunch of other photographer friends joined me on this fun little crazy ride. Huge shout out to all my shooters out there that are still taking the time to keep it up each and every single day. So for those of you curious... here's my first entry!

January 2012:

After going to the ER at 5am today for a crazy bad ear infection, these are all the meds I am currently on. My liver must hate me right now.

My initials are conveniently placed...

Day 17
My little sister Anna made this "Coconut" man for my older brother. I think he looks fantastic on the Zen garden I got for him earlier this month. Look up the "Pricetag" song to get a glimpse of the original coconut man.

Just hanging out. Errrr.... "in".

New sticks after just ONE song. Notice the difference between the right hand (hitting the metal hi-hat) and the left stick, hitting the snare.

Westminster,
Waiting in line to board our cruise boat down the Thames, I looked back and took a few (regularly exposed) shots of the Big Ben and all. I was being blinded by the light bouncing off the water, and then it occurred to me to expose for it. Here is my VERY favorite photo from this year! :)

28-366

London, England
Long exposures at the museum of natural history.
