Linda::: Anytime

It had been a while since the last time Linda got in front of a camera. In fact, if you asked anyone they would probably tell you that she is more often found behind the lens than in front of it. Growing up I actually remember a gorgeous photo I saw of her, with beautiful hair and make up and whipping her hair back... she looked like a country music star. I remember hoping I got the right bit of the gene pool for that, and at the very least even then I knew that I had a teeny-tiny chance of doing it. You see, as it turns out Linda is my lovely aunt. This summer I had the pleasure to come to visit her for a bit. One morning she shyly asked about booking a shoot so she could get a more updated gorgeous shot. Seeing as she took me under her wing and I lived with (or around her) for the first 3 years of my adult life, I of course jumped at the chance to get to boss her around a little! ;) I mean... "to help out"...

Anyway, we laughed so much reminiscing and remembering the story behind calling each other "auntie" and "niecey." Another fun thing about this shoot was that I actually got to try my hand at doing makeup, that's a first! (So of course, I had to take pictures to document it.)  But it went great and I like to think that at the end of the day we definitely got some great shots in! So without further ado, here's lovely (auntie) Linda.

Auntie, you look amazing! I can't wait until my next visit.
