It was getting late and I was worried that we would soon run out of light. I sat in Nicole and Valerie's living room as Nicole reassured me that she was making good progress with her Algebra homework. As much as I love to go above and beyond the call of duty as a photographer, I admittedly don't make it a habit to keep my clients company while they do their earthly chores. But Nicole and Valerie have been friends for years. We have seen each other through very difficult times, pranked each other, and even gone on beach vacations together. Half of this time Valerie and I endured through Nicole swearing up and down that she couldn't stand me, yet she'd always hang around. So I guess that all eventually led to me hanging out with her and her algebra homework on that gorgeous summer day, as she continuously insisted that as soon as Kathryn showed up they would start getting ready for their photo shoot. I had no idea when that would be. So I just sat and reminded her for the millionth time of that summer a couple years ago when she unsuspectedly walked into the beach house to find me standing there. She thought I was in Spain. I have a terribly recorded video of that moment.
It was great.
But other than that up to that point my only past experience involving Kathryn was seeing her face plastered on the computer screen as she and Nicole Skyped each other, supposedly in hopes of doing some homework together. Funnier still was the time when they asked me if I could help. HA! Me and Algebra... I payed my dues in high school, thankyaverymuch! Anyway, soon enough the girls were ready and gorgeous and ready to take a break, run around, and have some photo shoot fun. With my iPhone blasting music from my back pocket we started off by having a dance party in some random neighbour's yard.
When things start out this good, how could they possibly go wrong?!
Girls, you rocked it!
